Aakash Institute honours top achievers of IOQM and ANTHE 2025 in Lucknow

Lucknow: The Aakash Institute’s LUCK662 centre in Lucknow turned into a hub of celebration and pride as 11 students from the city were honoured for their outstanding success in the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) 2025 and Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2025. The felicitation ceremony recognised exceptional academic excellence and reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to nurturing India’s brightest young minds.

The event, held amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and achievement, brought together students, parents, and educators to celebrate the hard work and determination of the achievers. It also highlighted Lucknow’s growing stature as a centre for academic excellence and competitive exam preparation.

Strong performance from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand

The Uttar Pradesh–Uttarakhand region delivered a stellar performance this year, with 159 students qualifying for IOQM — including 88 from Uttarakhand and 71 from Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow alone contributed 11 qualifiers from its LUCK662 centre, strengthening the city’s academic credentials and showcasing the rising interest in mathematical excellence among students.

Nationally, 777 Aakash students qualified for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), a key stage leading up to the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

Encouraging participation in ANTHE 2025

The ANTHE 2025 exam witnessed overwhelming participation from students across India, reaffirming Aakash’s leadership in competitive exam training. The Central Zone saw over 14 lakh registrations and 2.18 lakh students appearing for the exam — a testament to the trust students and parents place in Aakash’s educational ecosystem.

In Lucknow alone, 45,775 students registered, and 29,754 appeared for ANTHE 2025, placing the city among the top contributors nationwide. The scholarship exam offers up to 100% scholarships and ₹2.5 crore in cash awards, enabling meritorious students from classes VII to XII to access Aakash’s classroom, hybrid, and digital programs.

The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) is a prestigious national-level examination that serves as the first step toward representing India in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). It identifies and nurtures young mathematical talent through a rigorous selection process.

The Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE), on the other hand, is one of India’s largest scholarship tests, designed to help students from classes VII to XII assess their academic aptitude and prepare for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, and Olympiads.
